Years of planning and last moment cancellation, the stress we all have been through when someone says "tu abhi tak Goa nahi gaye" (you have never been to Goa) finally ended. Hurray!! So landed in Goa with my friends and there was a sense of accomplishment like we have finally done it the TRIP to Goa. I and my friends are total foodies so from the airport, we headed to a beach restaurant called Souza Lobo on Calangute beach, recommendation by friend's brother. We had candlelight dinner with tiring faces sipping the Feni which tasted like the sarku (white color kind of alcohol sold in villages) also we tried to capture the Dil Chahta Hai shadow picture. By the time we reached our Air BnB, it was late after 12:00, yet we craved for the desserts. Our host suggested a nearby cafe which is open 24/7. Cafe Cotinga, Tamarind Hotel Boutique hotel. So after much research, we found this small cafe on Anjuna beach which is very popular for its location and food, we had to wait for a good 45 minutes to be seated. Trust me the wait is worth it, the food location is amazing. Below is a glimpse of it.
We visited Ashwem beach and there were few other food places we visited from our 3-day trip to Goa which was all about food. So the much-hyped Goa trip ended with wanting us to come back again for a staycation.
Let me know in the comments if you want to know the other food places we went too!

So, we had a list of places we want to try the food at but not visit the beaches or try the water sport, crazy right. That's why I said my Goa Trip for Food. The next day morning we went to the German cafe for breakfast where we tried the Aleo vera shots and some had delicious English breakfast. You come to Goa first time and not visit a beach one should be lame to do so. So it was the Ozran beach for us which was less crowded and that's how we like it.

Later that night we tried a few places which turned out to be boring and ended up spending the night at Cafe Lilliput on the seashore of Anjuna beach. It's a party place with good food where the Arabian Sea raises as the night sets in.
So, what's the point when a foodie comes to Goa and doesn't' get to taste Goan food. So the search for Goan food took us to Panaji to a restaurant called Mum's Kitchen, courtesy zomato reviews. The drive to Panaji was worth it. Oh My God! the food was heaven and the ambiance was so subtle and elegant. I wouldn't call it 100% authentic but yet you could taste some delicious Goan food.
